Question about mole removal procedure

It's been a month since my second laser treatment.
The area where the mole was removed is still red and raised—is this scarring?
Or would I need an additional treatment?
Should I wait a bit longer to see how it heals?

A
Dr.s Diagnosis
It's common for the skin to remain red and slightly raised after laser mole removal, especially within the first month. This can be a normal part of the healing process and may not necessarily indicate scarring. It's advisable to give it more time to heal, as many skin changes improve after a few months. However, if you notice any worsening symptoms, such as increased redness, pain, or discharge, or if you're concerned about the appearance, it would be best to consult your dermatologist for an evaluation. They can assess whether additional treatment is necessary.
